A TTRPG where you play Chess (at the end)

The hit new (at least new to Itch.io) game by GooseCommitsTaxEvasion and Olivia, FarAwayKingdom, A TTRPG where you play Chess (at the end) [Otherwise known as Chess: the TTRPG] is the hit RPG DLC to Chess you never knew you needed. 

Play as Knight, Rook, Bishop and Queen as you try to stop your King from making a royal mess of the situation. Solve problems, banter wittily and eventually play the hit Indie game Chess... at the end.

The game works as a series of puzzle solving challenges, requiring roleplay and deduction to succeed. Any contestions? Flip a coin. If you think you'd be good at the skills required? Flip two.

You even have pawns! Literally. Two each, which can be... sacrificed to succeed. They do get to retire! That's... something at least.

Lastly, your CM (Chess Master [no the GM doesn't need to be a chess master]) plays as the King. They guide the party and actively make the fires (metaphoricall or literally) you need to put out to succeed. 

The game is very shrimple and easy to learn [it's two pages], a game can be done entirely with the theater of mind (except the chess at the end), played on one [yes, 1] chessboard, or as a grand stage with props, actors and live orchestra. You decide!
